Room Planner

Design Your Room

Quick Start Guide

Step 1: Create a Plan

Once you have entered the Room Planner, the first step is to define the space(s) that you want to furnish. Specific tools for building wall structures are available in the top menu:

Wall Tool
With this tool, you can add wall structures to your new plan with ease. To build with more accuracy, you can adjust wall settings in the "General Settings" menu.
Room Tool
The room tool lets you create entire rooms in various sizes, with just a couple of mouse clicks. The basic room dimensions can be set in the "General Settings" menu.

Also, refinements to built wall structures are possible. You can split a wall by double clicking on it in the desired point. A selected corner or wall can be repositioned either by dragging it with the mouse or by pressing the arrow keys. For simplified control, overlapping corners are fused together.

Step 2: Furnish Your Space

When opening the "Furniture", hundreds of objects become available for you to furnish any type of space. Simply select the desired category, then click on the appropriate item and drag it into your plan or just press the "Add to Plan" button.

You are able to select one or more of the objects and then move or rotate them, even resize certain items. Right clicking on the selection opens a context menu where you can find additional functions such as "cut", "copy", "paste" and "object info".

Step 3: Save, Email, Print

As soon as you finish building and furnishing you plan, our Room Planner gives you the possibility to Save, Email and Print you drawings.

Save
To save a drawing, simply choose the Save or Save As function under the Plan menu, login, and name the drawing that you want to save.

Email
You can email your designs by clicking on the Email button. Enter you name and email address in the first fields (the application can only send to one person at a time), then enter the receivers name and email address and click the send button.

Print
To print your drawing click on the Print button, check the Grid Buttons if desired, add any additional comments, then just click on Print. You may need to check the preferences box in the print window that pops up and change the layout or orientation to "Landscape".
